Good value, some setup needed

I signed up for Toggl Plan to manage a new project for my agency. The drag and drop task planning was pretty intuitive, and the team availability view helped a lot with resource allocation. Delivery of the service, meaning access, was instant after purchase. I found the calendar integration straightforward, though it took a bit of fiddling to get it synced perfectly with everyone's calendars. Overall, it's a solid tool for the price, but not entirely plug-and-play.

Reliable time tracking, as always

I've been using Toggl Track for a few years now, and my latest purchase of the annual plan for my team was just as smooth as past renewals. The automated time tracking features are consistent, and setting up new users was quick. It's always been dependable for our project profitability reports. The only small thing is that sometimes the browser extension needs a refresh after an update, but it's a minor inconvenience.

Reliable tracking, as always

I've been a Toggl customer for years, mostly using Toggl Track for billable hours. This latest renewal for our annual plan was smooth. The project profitability reports are always a lifesaver for our agency. I did notice the price for the team dashboard seemed a tiny bit higher than last year, but it's still worth it for the consistent reliability. Setup was quick, took about 2 days to fully update for our whole team.

Good for tracking, some setup

I switched to Toggl Track for my freelance work, and it's been pretty solid. The desktop app is easy to use, and I like the project profitability reports. It helped me see where my time actually goes. Setting up all my clients and projects initially took a bit longer than I expected, but once it was done, it was smooth sailing.

Decent value, mostly efficient

I needed a better way to track hours for my consulting business, so I decided to try Toggl Track's free plan first, then upgraded for the advanced features like billable hours tracking. The switch to annual billing saved me 10%, which was a nice bonus. The mobile app is convenient for on-the-go tracking, and the integration with my calendar was seamless. My only minor complaint is that sometimes the browser extension needs a refresh to register new tasks right away. Overall, it's a practical and budget-friendly solution.

Good value for a new user

As a first-time buyer, I was really looking for value. The 30-day free trial for Toggl Plan was a big draw. It allowed me to properly test out the project timelines and resource planning tools before committing. I ended up switching to the annual billing to get the 10% discount, which felt like a smart saving. It definitely felt worth the purchase for organizing our small team's tasks.

Simple and effective tracking

Just started using Toggl Track for my development projects. The automated time tracking feature is a lifesaver. It makes sure I don't forget to hit start/stop. The idle detection is also helpful. Wish the reporting dashboard was a little more customizable out of the box, but it gets the job done.

So easy to use!

I just started using Toggl Track for my freelance work, and it's amazing! The desktop time tracker is super intuitive, and I love the pomodoro timer feature. It made keeping track of my hours so much less of a chore. I will definitely be sticking with this!

Hey guys, thinking about Toggl Track for my freelance stuff. Is the free version actually useful or just a demo that forces you to upgrade?

H Hannah Wright 1 month ago
The free one is pretty solid for basic time tracking. Like, for one person, it's totally fine to track projects and clients. You don't get all the fancy reporting though.

A Amanda N. 1 month ago
Yeah, I used the free plan for like a year before I needed team features. You can track unlimited projects and clients, which is cool. It's not limited by time or anything, just features.

Can you track time with Toggl on your phone? I'm always on the go and need something that works well mobile.

M Megan L. 2 weeks ago
Definitely! They have a pretty solid mobile app. I use it all the time on my iPhone, works great for starting/stopping timers.

D Donna T. 1 week ago
Yeah, I use the Android app daily. It syncs up perfectly with the desktop version. You can even edit entries and see reports from your phone, which is super handy.

Hey, I'm trying to decide between Toggl Track and Clockify for my small team. Any thoughts on which one's better for tracking project hours and maybe some basic reporting?

C Carol Young 1 month ago
I've used both, Toggl's interface is a bit cleaner for me, especially for quick time entries. Clockify is fine, but Toggl just feels more intuitive.

M Mary Wilson 1 month ago
For basic stuff, they're both pretty good. Toggl's reports are solid though, especially if you need to see profitability per project or team member. I think Clockify's free tier might be a bit more generous if that's a factor.

Does Toggl Track have a free version? I just need something simple for personal use, not looking to pay right now.

D Danielle 2 weeks ago
Yeah, there's a free plan. It's pretty robust for a single user, even has some team features if you add like 5 people I think.

T Tim Thomas 1 week ago
Totally, the free plan is great. I used it for ages before upgrading. You can track projects, clients, all that good stuff without paying.

Thinking of switching from Harvest to Toggl Track. Is it really that much better, or just different?

C Chris T. 2 weeks ago
I found Toggl's UI a bit cleaner for just logging time quickly. Harvest felt a bit clunkier sometimes. Plus, Toggl's free tier is way more generous.

A Adam Clark 2 weeks ago
Depends on your needs honestly. Toggl's automatic tracking features (idle detection, etc.) are pretty sweet if you forget to start timers. Harvest is fine, but I prefer Toggl for ease of use.

Anyone know if Toggl usually does Black Friday deals? Thinking about getting the annual plan but could wait if there's a good discount coming up.

A Alex White 3 weeks ago
Hmm, I haven't seen them do huge Black Friday sales. They mostly just push the annual discount, which is already 10% off. Worth checking their site around that time though.
5
B Brittany Diaz 2 weeks ago
I've never personally seen a specific Black Friday coupon code for Toggl. They tend to do the annual discount or special extended free trials. You can always try the 30-day trial to see if you like it, and then consider the annual.

Does Toggl Plan work well with Asana or is it better to just stick with one or the other?

J Jacob 4 weeks ago
I've seen people use Toggl Track with Asana no problem for time logging. Not sure about Plan directly integrating though, I think it's more its own thing for project management.
0
J Joseph Nguyen 3 weeks ago
I think Track integrates with a ton of stuff, including Asana and Trello. For Plan, it's more about their own planning features. So if you're already deep in Asana, Plan might be redundant for some features.

Anyone know if there are any current promo codes for Toggl? Looking at getting a paid plan for my small team.

J John 1 month ago
They don't really do public promo codes much, usually it's automatic discounts if you pay annually or for things like non-profits. I got 10% off by just choosing annual billing.
2
B Betty Williams 1 month ago
Nah, never seen a general promo code. Your best bet is the yearly discount or maybe an extended trial if you find one floating around. They seem to focus more on the free tiers.
